We are looking for a Security Officer for the Swedish Armed Forces

We are now looking for you who are ready for new challenges and want to play an important role in security protection at the unit.

Main Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will belong to the Intelligence and Security Department, which leads and coordinates intelligence and security services at the unit.

In this role, you will primarily work within the area of security protection and its various sub-areas, but you will also work to some extent with tasks within the framework of security intelligence services.

You will work with various tasks related to security protection planning, personnel security, information security, and physical security. You will participate in the planning and implementation of the unit's security protection service, for example, by supporting operational practitioners in various matters within the security protection service. You will also independently or together with others train staff in security protection.

You are expected to independently handle ongoing matters and prepare them for decision. You will also participate as a representative of the Intelligence and Security Department in joint preparations within the staff and in various working groups. In addition, you will participate in the development of the unit's operational intelligence and security situation.

Qualifications

  • Completed officer training, OF 2/3 or OR 7/8
  • Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Trained at FM UndSäkC or equivalent training in the field of security protection, security intelligence services, or intelligence services
  • Completed Course for Security Service Handlers (KHS) at FM UndSäkC
  • Completed Security Officer Course (SOK) at FM UndSäkC
  • Completed security intelligence handler at FM UndSäkC
  • Experience in staff positions, particularly within military intelligence and security services or in a corresponding area at another government agency
  • Experience working in ISUS
  • Good knowledge of applicable regulations regarding intelligence and security services within the Swedish Armed Forces

The employment is a full-time permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period for those who do not already work within the Swedish Armed Forces. The position includes an international work obligation and an obligation to be placed in wartime.
